Welcome to HomeBase — Your Hub for Homeownership Support

Whether you're looking to monitor property taxes, explore refinance opportunities, or take advantage of client-only perks, HomeBase is your go-to resource. Built exclusively for our past clients, this page is designed to keep you informed, supported, and connected — long after closing day.

Post Closing Support Categories

Loan servicing by FairwayNEXT provides convenient ways to obtain valuable information about your mortgage loan, such as where to make your first payment as well as who your current servicer is, and, if necessary, you can make a one-time ACH payment!

Property taxes can feel confusing, but they don’t have to be. This section breaks down how your home’s value is assessed, how tax rates are set, and what to expect from the C.A.D. and Tax Office — so you can stay informed and in control.

The choices can feel overwhelming, especially when the timing isn’t urgent. That’s why our focus isn’t on just closing a deal. It’s about helping you understand your options, explore what’s best for your goals, and move forward when the time is truly right for you.

01: Register your Payment Portal

First things first — it’s time to set up your payment portal. Once your loan has been transferred to your new servicer, you’ll receive a “Welcome” letter in the mail with your account details and instructions.

You can also use the link below to access your servicing information, create your online account, and set up automatic payments to ensure everything runs smoothly from day one.

02: Confirm HOA & HOI are set up

On closing day, your title company sends funds to all the appropriate parties, including your insurance provider. We simply want to remind you to double-check that your insurance company received the payment — if not, let us know and we’ll reach out to the title company for you.

Also, if your new home has a homeowners association (HOA), be sure your HOA payments are set up and that you’ve received their welcome packet or online portal information. It’s a small step that helps you avoid late fees or missed dues after closing.

03: Homestead Exemption

If you purchased your home this year and it’s your primary residence, you may qualify for a property tax break through the Homestead Exemption. It’s a simple step that can save you hundreds — sometimes thousands — every year.

04: Submit a Review!

Your feedback means the world to us. Sharing your experience helps our team continue improving and lets future homebuyers know they can trust The Juarez Group to guide them home with honesty, integrity, and accountability.
